A proud native of Beaumont, Texas, and a resident of the Houston, Katy, Pearland, and Fulshear areas since 1976, I recently retired after 47 years in the upstream oil and gas industry, serving in field service, corporate sales, and management roles.

Throughout my career, I’ve held leadership positions—including chairman, president, and board member—across several industry organizations dedicated to supporting Texas Children's Hospital, university scholarships, the Houston Museum of Natural Science, and other local causes.

I attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and I am an Eagle Scout and Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow.

Currently, I serve as the Community Liaison for the Fulshear North Fort Bend Water Authority Conservation Committee, appointed by former Mayor Aaron Groff in May 2024. In 2023, I also led a petition, signed by over 800 Fulshear residents, calling for a moratorium on new construction until local water supply issues were resolved.

My hobbies include fishing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. I’ve been married to Sharon Brady Connor for 17 years, and together we have a wonderful blended family of four children and five grandchildren.
